The Steel Window Association welcomed members and guests to the 55th AGM last week – the first physical event for two years.
Hosted at The Glass and Glazing Federation, the attendees included member companies and associate members for the formal proceedings, and a guest speaker from the GGF discussed the forthcoming changes to building regulations.
Kris Bennell, SWA’s President, commented “It was great – and productive – to be in the same room again with like-minded friends in the association and industry as a whole. Alongside Council matters, we were able to present the hard work of the Product Development Group; especially as we go into the next few years where legislation and rule changes will affect our industry and we need to collaborate. The Sales Development Group, in turn, discussed the new branding and website, and new marketing initiatives as we position ourselves as the go-to for architects, designers, specifiers and consumers who are looking for a reputable steel window and door company. We have recently welcomed two new members, Perla Windows and Holdsworth Windows so it was good to meet the teams and to present the SWA to them in person.”
